ACT Now Education CERT2SUCCESS Program
The “CERT2SUCCESS” a 100% FREE program for Transitioning Service Members, Military Spouses, Veterans and Military Dependents. The program follows a similar strategy to the 3CERT COHORT but offers a slightly different certification suite, which includes ISC Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), CYBERAB Certified Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Professional (CPP), Professional Scrum Masters, PMI Project Management Professional and a variety of Cloud or Cybersecurity related Certifications. This program is delivered via three weeks of virtual or in person instructor-led training, and it also includes an employment readiness workshop and job placement assistance.
Program Outline
Our “CERT2SUCCESS” program provides a comprehensive approach to gaining the training and skills necessary to transition from military service and launch a civilian career in technology.
● 3 weeks of instructor-led virtual training or in-person
● Opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications
● Professional Resume
● Employment readiness workshop
● Job placement assistance with access to a wide range of top employers
Certification Program
Cohort candidates will get 1 of the following certification preparation and training courses, as well as exam vouchers, to earn:
● ISC Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
● CYBERAB Certified Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Professional (CPP)
● PMI Project Management Professional
● Cloud or Cybersecurity related Certification
Resume writing assistance: Enable the military community to successfully position themselves in today’s job market in the IT and Cyber specializations. Our resume program aids in the creation of good resumes that get the attention of potential employers. They also translate military experience so civilian hiring managers can understand the candidate’s skills.
Mentorship: Matching civilian industry mentors with each protégé to provide a long-term mentorship experience. A mentorship helps a candidate to structure their job search, get educated on the various career opportunities, and successfully transition to the civilian workforce.
Mock Interview Preparation: Connect our military community with qualified interview coaches for personal practice job interviews.
Land a Civilian Job: Provide our military community with connections and opportunities to find IT & Cyber positions
You must meet one of the following criteria and complete the steps below to enroll:
Transitioning Service Member (3 months or Less)
A Veteran
Spouse of an Active Duty Military member
Veteran Military Spouse
Reservist
National Guard
You must meet one of the following criteria.
Attended an Orientation (Orientations are held every Saturday 1 PM EST) to receive the code to register
